What Lintel is
Lintel is a shared board for a real estate agency: what is coming to market, what is listed, what is under offer, and the dates attached to each. It is a record-keeping tool. It is not a substitute for your agency agreement, your trust accounting, or your obligations under the Real Estate Agents Act 2008.
Your account
You are responsible for who you invite into your agency. Everyone invited can see the entire board, including buyer contact details and every past change. Remove people who leave.
Your data is yours
The properties, buyers, optional viewing feedback and history you enter belong to your agency. We do not sell it, mine it, or use it to train anything. Ask and we will export it or delete it.
What we ask of you
Only enter other people's personal information where you are entitled to, and tell them you are collecting it. See the privacy page for what that involves. Do not use Lintel to store information you have no reason to hold.
Availability
Lintel is provided as-is. We aim to keep it running and correct, but it depends on third-party infrastructure and we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Keep your own records of anything you cannot afford to lose — particularly deadlines with legal consequences, such as agency agreement expiry and settlement dates.
The dates Lintel shows are the dates someone typed in. It cannot verify them, and a reminder appearing on screen does not make a date correct.
Ending it
You can stop using Lintel at any time and ask for your data to be exported or deleted. We will give reasonable notice if we ever need to stop providing it.
